The Country House gives you the freedom of relentlessly relaxing and being overwhelmed by your desires in daytime. With the organic constructions and sculptures it has, Country House welcomes you in such a way that you can’t escape spending the day hedonistically in the pool or under the vines; besides you may prefer to go out to discover the nature of Olympos too.

In the nights you will enjoy your meal under the ancient archs and vines, besides the pool or in the wooden pavilions while thinking “Mmm fish tonight, shall I drink wine or taste raki…” and listening nice music. And then Özgün would make the fire lights, so their improvisational performance starts along the, ‘log wood burnin’ through the night’ (na na na everything’s gonna be allright…). While Özgün and Ezgi playing their ethnic sounding, freestyle music people would smoothly boil up as you are free to jump. Though some other nights, we may bring to you the joy of watching movies of world cinema with our little open-air arrangement. Besides all there have been many nights we spent sitting on the pavilions, doing nothing except watching the full moon.

In short, our place is consist of a bit of art, a bit of chatting, beautiful music, lots of beer, with the whole family of Ezgi, Özgün, Gülüstan, İbrahim and Hera (our cocker). Eventually, these all boils down to sincereness, nature and inspiration in this beautiful region of redemption...

Each night Mrs. Gülüstan’s homemade foods appear to you in such a way that you would be tempted to overfill your dish with all flavors consisting of “meze”s, salad, soup, rice, a veggie and a meat dish at least. After eating your fill you can even make the common joke like “Gülüstan I ate too much because of you, do you want me to get fatter?”. For years it has been the same…

Sometimes, you can hear the improvisation coming out of the kitchen; that means Özgün or Ezgi is trying to prepare something to compete with the master Gülüstan’s foods. The rumor is that they have a knack for making toasts also.

And if it comes to breakfast, words really fail… A full Turkish breakfast with village product of egg, Tokat’s special cheese, homemade bread and jams, the other local tastes like “menemen” (omlette with tomato and peppers), “akitma” (kind of a pancake) and of course brewed tea will give you a good start for the day, and also relaxes you to sit under the vines until the noon.

Ultimately, each kind of food is prepared by Gülüstan’s special endeavor in the kitchen to tune up the oil, spices and all flavors harmoniously and Ibrahim’s contribution to it by choosing best vegetables in the bazaar. As a result, you will be addicted to your serotonin hormone with all those organic, fresh foods prepared with diligence.

The word for Olympos had already told by the Gods and Goddesses; however we also want to say some words to describe our Olympos. With a 2.5 km long way from The Country House you can find the marvelous ancient city of Olympos. You can take the road with our free shuttle (called “tır-tır”) at different times in a day. That road is never boring with the incredibly charismatic “Tır Tır” starlines; you will almost find yourselves on an unceremonious march past to show yourself off among the bohemian Olymposians walking towards the beach... During this trip you would also find brilliant ideas to change your lives afterwards.

Olympos is a destination never dropped off the map owing to the special nature and history it has. Green, history and sea beautifully conglomerates… You can enjoy having a natural bath after the sea with the natural spring water beside the ruins. Also the famous ancient Lycian Road passes through the Olympos City. So we are calling you the nature lovers to claim a discovery along the road instead of just watching the view. By the way don’t content yourself with doing only trekking there; Olympos is great for trying all different kinds of nature sports too.

In Olympos there is a little bit nightlife too. In addition, there is love, there is sun, there are stars and sometimes the full moon in the sky... Nights and days go by as Zeus lies and Hera cries; but for us Olympos is to relax and improvise.
